Day 7: Bremen - Amelinghausen

114k. This is the longest day of the whole tour and as forecast, a hot one, up to 33 degrees. We started early and rolled out of Bremen around 8am . It was good being on the north side of the city as we were immediately into quiet roads.

We survived the bright sunny day thanks to an incredible amount of tree cover during much of the of the route. Starting out in in farmland, we soon entered forested areas which where great to cycle under.
