What an adventure! We started the day with a 2.5 hour rib boat ride. They provided waterproof gear, as you do get wet!
Mom was a bit nervous. Cory was excited. Water is his happy place.

ПутешественникI definitely would not have scheduled this on my own. So very happy Sara did. This was amazing! Yes, a bit scary in the ocean in a tiny rubber boat and 13 foot swells going super fast and bouncing you off your seat but I'd do it again in a heartbeat! I was screaming a little, Cory had the giggles listening to my angst 😃 Beautiful islands, caves, birds, dolphins all so close we could almost touch them. Awesome day!

I was kissed by a local. Mom kissed the local when he left. County Kerry won the match, and our Irish Coffee was delish. Never drank at a hardware store before.
ПутешественникJohnny Fox was one of my favorite stops. Talking to the old local man and having the best Irish coffee so far. I feel like we went to Johnny's at least 3 times. Fun!

Hold a lamb and Beehive Huts

Coumeenole Beach

Dunquin Pier

This used to be an old sheep path. Now it is a path that silly tourists think they can drive on, and then get stuck.
Also, off this Pier is where a Spanish Armada ship sunk.

Tarbert Ferry

We took a ferry from Tarbert to Killimer, across The River Shannon, to shave about 2 hours from our drive time.
Very quick and efficient! 21 minutes.

ПутешественникYes, completely. That's a bit of the reason we went to these stops. We saw so many huge, 54 passenger tour busses headed to the Cliffs of Moher. It's overrun from what we've heard.

Kilkee Cliffs

Natural spring water and donkeys

Alan stopped and had us bring our water bottles into this small stone enclosure. It was a natural spring full of the "freshest water we will ever taste."
