Mendoza part 2: Aconcagua

Moved to the mountains for a couple days (much more pleasant camping temperatures!) Hiked to the first Aconcagua base camp at 3300m. Full height is 6960m, making it the highest mountain outside of the Himalayas!
Then went back into Mendoza town where we did a bicycle vineyard tour - don't think I've ever paid only £2 to taste 3 wines before!

ViaggiatoreYes! And the highest non technical in the world I think as you can just hike to the top without climbing/special equipment etc

ViaggiatoreSorry to be stupid! Simon just pointed out you'd written it in the description. That's amazing to be able to walk to the top although oxygen might get a bit short. Postcards have just come!
