Rainbow Mountain / Montaña Vinikunka

Had a very early morning to visit Rainbow Mountain near Cusco, were collected at 3am ready to be there before all the other tourists! The colours are formed by different minerals in the ground - iron, copper, etc. It was only discovered around 10 years ago when all the ice that used to cover the region melted.Lue lisää
