A staggered start to another brisk morning. Rode 150m for coffee and toasted sanga and then after saying a 2nd goodbye to Julie and Judy we did another 100m before the impact of the coffee meant another sudden stop. Finally we got on our way and we had a very nice 47km ride to Donnelly River with gentle grades with the munda biddi following large parts of the Donnelly River and old rail embankment. Riding time 4hrs and ave speed 12.5kph. The path also took us past Deanmill and One Tree Bridge where Lloyd was clearly in awe of the early pioneers and in particular the Roads Board in overcoming physical challenges, opening up the State and bringing the communities together, which Main Roads continues to do to this day- Lloyds words not mine! (Or something very similar). Met a few people travelling in the opposite direction including four people from Mt Darragh in NSW where Lloyd had his farm. Also dropped in to have a look at the Karta Burnu hut about 20kms from Manjimup.Okumaya devam et
