Montezuma to Santa Teresa

Dan and Melissa started the day up on the sun deck of the hotel watching the sunrise. Once we were all up we had one last experience of Jesse’s amazing cooking. The Boys had French toast, Freya had a traditional Costa Rican breakfast and Melissa had fruit yoghurt and granola which was super tasty! We then packed up our stuff and the car before heading to Santa Teresa. We arrived at our hotel which was up a really steep hill. We unpacked then chilled by the pool with some beers for the afternoon, meeting several lizards who enjoyed basking in the sun on the deck as well as some humming birds than were flying around.
We headed out to a beachfront restaurant called Manzú for the evening. As today would have been Oscar’s 28th birthday we sat on beanbag’s and watched the beautiful sunset on the beach raising a glass in his memory as the sun went down. We then moved into the restaurant for delicious dinner. A perfect day to celebrate Wiggy.Læs mere
