Mount Tabor

We travelled by shuttle taxi up the winding road to the summit of Mt Tabor. This church is the sight of the Transfiguration. Jesus took Peter, James and John up the mountain, where Moses and Elijah appeared and Jesus transfigured into sparkling clothes. This was to prove to the people that Jesus was the connection between humans and God. It also showed that they didn’t need the prophets any more, and that Jesus was the son of God.Read more
