Palm Sunday Road

Today we walked down the Mount of Olives and the Palm Sunday Road. We stopped half way and celebrated Mass at the Dominus Flevit. As you can see, there is a stunning view of Jerusalem behind the alter. When Jesus walked down this road with the crowd, he would have seen the incredible Temple in front of him, not the golden dome.

At the bottom of the Mount, we stopped at the Garden of Gethsemane. This is where Jesus is said to have prayed before his arrest and where Judas betrayed him. Czytaj więcej
