Stations of the Cross

We started this morning at 5:30am. It was incredible so the Stations around the Old City and end at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. This Church is on the hill of Calvary, where Jesus was crucified. We climbed to the top and got to touch the bedrock and were even more lucky to celebrate a (quick) Mass in the actual Tomb of Jesus.

During peak tourist time, there can be 4 hour lines to even just walk through this Tomb, so we were very lucky!

Getting to finish the Stations here was incredibly moving. To follow, quite literally, Jesus’ footsteps was emotionally for many.Читать далее
