Skutustadagigar & Hofdi

The van was rocking quite a bit last night ..... a very windy night became a beautiful, still day today and we had a busy day planned. First stop was the pseudocraters formed by gas explosions when boiling lava flowed over the wetlands at Skutustadagigar. A little further around Lake Myvatyn was Hofdi, with its unusual rock formations. We stopped here and admired the views whilst having breakfast.Read more
