Hverir and Mt Hverfjall

Next stop near Lake Myvatn is Hverir a geothermally active area of Iceland. Here we saw bubbling mud pools, fumaroles and evidence of the richness of sulfur in this area (both sight and smell). We walked up Mt Hverfjall where we got to see some lovely views of the surrounding area.Leia mais
