Cinque Terre

This morning we headed to the fresh food market and bought some fruit for the day. Our breakfast was focaccias and coffee. We caught a train to visit the towns along the Cinque Terre. We got off at Monterosso and headed towards the walking track. It was steep, had beautiful views and a person selling freshly juiced oranges along the way. There were vineyards, an accordion player and many vistas. We stopped at Vernazza where we jumped off the rocks into the water for a swim and we ate gelato. We continued walking along the trail to Corniglia where we stopped for another gelato. The path was closed for the remainder of the way so we caught the train to Manarola. We jumped off the pier and had drinks in the sun by the water. We caught the train to Riomaggiore and had beers on the rocks while watching the sunset. I unfortunately lost my round glasses between the cracks in the rocks. Dinner was seafood risotto and then a quick dash to catch the train back to La Spezia.もっと詳しく
