Day 8 - Pine Grove to Boiling Springs

Explanation left the Ironmasters hostel to get back on trail the next morning. 🌄 Not wanting to sit around waiting for a shuttle, i spent 2 hours Doordashing around Carisle (36$), then got a request from a return customer to get picked up in Boiling Springs and dropped back at Ironmasters in Pine Grove (35$). After several unsuccessful calls to hostels regarding work-4-stay or even a space available, I took Patty back to Boiling Springs to get some sunshine by the creek and watch the fly fishermen and families enjoying their Sunday 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 ❤️ 🌞 I'm considering going home, as Patts is not having an easy time being in the car so much, and shuttling outside the hiker bubble has been less lucrative than anticipated. It's 75° and clear for the evening, so we are sleeping in the car at a trailhead tonight, this time, with the sunroof open. 🌠😴☪️Les mer
