    Zealandia is set in a 225 hectare valley in the suburb of Karori, very close to Wellington City and is surrounded by some 9km of special predator-proof fence. It's been responsible for reintroducing native species not seen in Wellington for years, and from the sanctuary some bird species have been spreading extensively over the city.Read more
