Day 5 - Zabaldika to Cizur Mayor

Today started with a stunning walk out of Zabaldika, but then we hit the concrete jungle of Pamplona ... although in saying that, they actually have a lot of beautiful parklands in and around Pamplona!

Nonetheless, today was the day we were going to find a doc to check me out. My beautiful friends stayed with me that whole time, despite my grumpiness and insistence that they move on without me!

It'll probably go down as my least fave day on Camino... BUT compared to a spanish woman we met at the hospital, I was in a pretty good place... she had taken 3 steps onto the camino in St Jean, then slipped and broke her arm... Camino all over! 😩

It's definitely a lesson in perspective for me! My price was just a few measley hours! 💚

The accommodation tonight was awful... it looked so nice on booking.com, but the place was a mess! AND we had to walk an extra 4kms to get there off the path!
