Vatican, Shopping & Spanish Steps 🇮🇹

Day 2 in Rome was packed! 🇮🇹❤️

We started our morning with a Vatican tour and were blown away by the Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Basilica, and the incredible beauty of St. Peter’s Square. It’s hard to put into words just how amazing it all was.

Keeping with our tradition of picking up a Christmas ornament from every country we visit, we found a beautiful one in Vatican City. Emma chose a dove decoration inspired by the doves displayed on the tombs of the popes — a special little keepsake to remember our time here. 🎄🕊️

We then stopped at a jewelry store Emma discovered on TikTok, where I continued our tradition of getting her a travel gift. She picked out a beautiful bracelet with a little cornicello charm. ❤️

After a delicious lunch of eggplant and meat pasta, we walked off all the food by wandering through Rome and making our way up the Spanish Steps.

And of course, we had to reward ourselves at the top with an iced latte topped with whipped coffee and melted chocolate. ☕️🍫

So much packed into one morning and afternoon — and somehow, we still have an entire evening ahead of us! 🇮🇹✨Read more
