Richard n Sheila Travels The oldest guest house in Miltenberg, Zum Riesen (The Giant) dates from 1158, although this current building was a erected in 1590 and renovated several times since. Some famous guests - Elvis Presley (!), Napoleon Bonaparte and Frederick the 1st sometime in the 1100's.
Richard n Sheila Travels No levels or plumb-lines here...been standing maybe 400 years, tho. This is a typical residential home, as are the two on either side. Three storeys, stone ground floor, half-timber upper floors.
