Stewart Island Day 2

Hired electric bikes and rode out to Lee Bay which is the start of the national park. Joined the Rakiura Track for 30min walk to Small River and spent some time exploring the beach.

Lunch back in Oban and then on the bikes to Ackers Point. Then over to Golden Bay for a swim.

In the evening we went looking for Kiwi and had an amazing experience when two came hurtling through the bush chasing one another. They stopped by us and walked between our legs, pecking at shoes and socks before heading on back into the undergrowth. Heading back to the Hostel we saw another along the road.もっと詳しく
