• Travel day to the Faroes

    10月31日, フェロー諸島 ⋅ 🌬 10 °C

I packed my last things and said goodbye to my cats and parents. Leon dropped me off at the airport, where, after checking in, I went straight to the lounge for a delayed breakfast.

My flight was delayed, so I panicked a bit that I might miss my connection in Copenhagen. I immediately texted Chloé to tell the gate staff to wait for me, since we were meeting at the airport to catch our final flight together. In the end, that flight was also delayed, so everything worked out fine.

Sigvör had organized a taxi for us to Tórshavn, where the rest of the group was already settled at Torp, a nice steak restaurant. The taxi ride was fun because it’s customary to share rides there — a young mom with her baby joined us.

The restaurant was amazing. I had Faroese langoustine, which was superb, followed by a steak that melted in your mouth. Of course, we had some good wine, too.

Sigvör took the big bags with the merch, and we kept our suitcases with our personal stuff. There was a bit of miscommunication about where to stay afterward we were supposed to sleep at her house, which is about a 30-minute drive away.

So instead, we went to a bar with part of the group the Mikkeller Bar in the old town for a cozy hangout. We ended up staying with Eivør and Tróndur, her husband, in their amazing house.

We had one last glass of bubbles before going to bed. Tomorrow is the last show day.
