Syðrugøta to Torshavn

I woke up around 10. No one was home, and Sigvör wouldn’t be back for a few hours.

My plan was to get as much accounting done as possible so I could fully relax and enjoy my week of holiday here.

I didn’t manage to finish everything, but I did get a big chunk done. Then I had some leftovers and took it easy for a few hours.

When Sigvör got back, she first took a nap, and later she drove me to Tórshavn, where we both did some grocery shopping. It’s so funny — she seems to know everyone! But it also makes sense since everything here is so close and small. I even met Mikael’s mom in the store and some of Sigvör’s other relatives.

Afterward, I checked in and met my Airbnb host, Sunneva — a friend of Eivør’s who owns one of the bars in town. Such a cool lady, also involved in music.

I went to my room, had some snacks, took a nap, watched a series, and went to bed.Read more
