    Today I picked up the rental car, a Nissan Juke just like my old one. I decided to drive to the northern part of Streymoy, also because I calculated that there’s only really good daylight until around 16:00. I first went to Vestmanna because I had read that there was a saga museum, but unfortunately it was closed.

    After that I decided to go see the big waterfall, Fossá, and on the way I stopped at the two abandoned igloo houses. I would love to live somewhere like this.

    The roads are nice and easy, though some are quite narrow, and you always need to stay alert because the sheep, ducks, and geese roam freely here. Combine that with a lot of mist and fog, plus cliffs right next to you, and it keeps you focused.

    I went home around dinner time, made myself a nice pizza, and watched some Netflix.
