Port Stevens to Byron Bay

Got up and had a swim and then had a quick look round Port Stevens. Went to Fingal Bay, L&D wanted to show us the tranquil beauty of this beach only to find a sports event underway with 100's of people - but we got the idea. The drive took about 6 hrs along long straight roads through lush forest and farm land. We broke up the journey with a stop at Cassegrain Vineyard in Port Maquarrie. Had a tasting I did the reds Ali did the bubbles (advantage of not driving) and bought 3 reds and 3 pink bubbles to start the week off. We arrived in Byron around 6.30 and settled in for a take a way curry and watched Spurs beat Arsenal - perfect end to the day.Läs mer
