Medellin ~ Day 2

Hola penguins!!

Our second day in Medellin we headed to the town center, where there are 23 sculptures by Fernando Botero. We took some pictures and then set off to find a market. The market where we ended up was by far the largest market I have ever seen. This market made every other I have been to look like a corner store. We meandered through the market for about an hour and then headed to a small replica town of an old Pueblo. Later in the evening we met up with Josè and headed to a Columbian fútbol game. The game was absolutely incredible. The fans quite literally on their feet, singing, and chanting the entire game!! (Makes a sounders game look incredibly lame). After the game Josè took us to try some Venezuelan food where we unfortunately had to say goodbye and headed back to our hostel.Meer informatie
