    February 14, 2022 in Norway ⋅ ☁️ 0 °C

Heading south at a fast rate now, the long stop was at Trondheim, but was at 06:00 so stayed onboard as looked cold and icy and is a 15 minute walk into town, when at that time nothing would be open. Could see piles of snow where it had been thrown up by the ploughs but nothing looked fresh. Kristiansund is a historical fishing town, famous for clipfish (dried and salted cod), the statue is supposed to represent the fisherwoman who developed the process. Although today there were few fishing boats mostly larger gas and oil support vessels. No sign of any fresh snow here, but bitterly cold so we returned to the ship.Read more
