Villefranche around the coast to Monaco

Massive sleep for us both then an omelette and coffee on the cafe Along the road. Then off again up the very steep and winding roads out off the coast and then along at considerable heights to the tourist trap of Eze. It’s an old castle on the top of an extremely steep rock outcrop. It has many retail outlets throughout and a 5 star hotel restaurant bars and cafe all utilising the ancient rooms of this incredible castle.
After a good hour or two climbing around we headed on to Monaco for a whistle stop tour as the place was very busy and no parking we could find so Goldie did the obligatory photo shoot while I ducked and weaved the coppers who were glaring at this “Roast Beef” ( French slang for pommies ) parked in totally inappropriate places. Then back to Nice to get the car washed in a self wash - what a fiasco - there was absolutely no organisation and there were cars everywhere and shouting and pushing in - quite disconcerting when one has no idea how the machines work and what the protocols are. I short there were none. Everyman for himself so we took bay and gave our best on the foaming wands and rinsed and polished until the time ran out. Ce La vie. Then back to the dogs for a soothing rosē and settle down for our last evening in France we fly tomorrow arvy for Dubai overnight then Akl home SundayBaca lagi
