Vaison to Villefranche

It was with much sadness we pulled out of Vaison house and headed for the coast
We turned off the A8 and headed through to Saint Tropez then after seeing a motorcyclist in a mangled state and cleared the road block he had caused we headed toward Cannes on the coast road. A slow winding trip not dissimilar to the Thames to coromandel trek but built up all the way mostly 30-50 Km. Then we bailed out onto the motorway again for an evening arrival out our digs on the waterfront n Villefranche. After a bit of hullabaloo finding keys and acesss we dumped the bags and headed 100 mts up the nearest bar for a few very scoops of Bombay and tonic. Delightful they were too then crashed into bed and didn’t wake until 0830 !!! I was a bit knackered.Leggi altro
