Athens Day 2 - Daytime

Our first full day in Athens kicked off with a bus ride to the Parthenon. We toured that and the Acropolis museum. We saw the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first Olympic Games were held in 1896. The bus dropped us off in Plaka. We had delicious gyros at Tyloxto then headed back to the hotel for a nap because the jet lag was catching up with us and the day was not over.Read more
