Day 27: Home time by Millen

The early wake up this morning was not met by a beautiful sunset walk or a dive with turtles but with the dreadful thought of leaving. Saying farewell to the joyfully cheap Grab prices, we were dropped off at the airport. Waiting for the plane to fuel up, we decided to fuel up too, treating ourselves with a mix of South Eastern Asia and Western cuisine. 5 Treanors arrived at Malaysia, but only 4 were leaving. Not only had we said our goodbyes to Arushi a week ago were we’re also now saying goodbye to the tropical weather, incredible cuisine and cheap prices, waking up each day knowing we have somewhere new to explore from waterfalls and mountains to busy cities and night markets.
The long plane journey entailed movie watching and sleeping. Arriving at London which was surprisingly similarly humid to Indonesia we made our way back to SW11.
These wonderful past few weeks have truly been magical and we have been extremely fortunate to explore these wonders with each other. We had left with excitement and arrived back with our hearts fulfilled, heavier suitcases, bigger bellies, and one less Treanor but most importantly magical memories that we we hold onto for the rest of our lives.
