Sitka

The sky cleared and with only a little misty rain off and on we got on our boat for whale watching with captain Gary. He was knowledgeable and funny and we saw several humpback whales, grey whales,(one fully breached the water), and of course no one got a picture because it surprised us. We went to a local pub where Rob had a local beer, and I had a liquor shot called a duck fart (crown whiskey, Kailua, and baileys). It was actually really good.we saw eagles on top of crosses where ships had sunk years ago, and a huge pod of sea otters just lounging together. Captain Gary said it has been the coldest May and June in years. Last week it rained all day, every day. We at least are getting some sun.Läs mer
