    Two and a bit hours on the Eurostar and now in Paris ❤️ although the Queen had to line up with all the other plebs and wait almost 2 hours for a taxi to drive me under 5 kms to the hotel 🏨. Sweaty Betty had sweat running from my bum cheeks to my shoes 🤣 did not go out or look at anything as minimal sleep had caught up with me 😱 9 hours last night so rearing to go !Baca lagi

    Free or not free ?

    Dont touch the mini bar 💀

    So we all know the rules on the mini bar … do not under any circumstances TOUCH the mini bar (my 🐵🙈🙉 can confirm that rule they have heard it 100000 times !) so the mini bar here is partly tricky ! Nespresso machine ✅ well that’s free , bottle of Evian on the little table with a bottle opener one would assume is free ✅ a as bad next to the Nespresso machine a rather innocuous looking small block of Alain Ducasse Le Chocolat weighing 60 gm. Almost unwrapped and ate that beast in one mouthful due to its position next to the free Nespresso machine … for some reason I thought hold on lard arse let’s just check this baby out on the “free” or not “free” mini bar list … thank god I did 🤣🤣 €14 which currently translates to $21.18 AUD 😱😱😱😱😱 now that is my line in the sand (Iceman are you hearing me ?) old habits die hard … never ever touch the mini bar even if it’s sitting next to free stuff 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂Baca lagi

    Galleries Lafayette .. such a beautiful shopping building ! No €€€ spent here ! Mastered the Met 🚊 spent the day wandering all the little streets. Weather a bit like home ! Warm amd sunny one minute then raining the next ! Almost need a pair of jeans and long sleeve top - which I don’t have !Baca lagi

    Musee D’ Orsay ❤️ my fav ! Gaudi and Impressionism Exhibitions. Note the painting of the naked woman with the clothed men ? Totally scandalous of its time .. not because of the nude lady sitting with clothed men 😱 women were only allowed to be painted naked as gods and mythical creatures - not just a female sitting in a park naked amongst clothed men 🤣🤣🤣🤔Baca lagi

    Palace of Versailles - the nice me says omg such amazing beautiful opulence that one can only imagine … the nasty me says omg the world or country is crumbling around your gold plated feet 🦶🤣🤣🤣 no time for analysis tho just pretty pictures !
    Oh I also wasn’t watching where I was walking (reading the guidebook ) tripped on a step and went down like 10 tonne tessie 🙈😱🤣🤣🤣 I hoped no one saw but was seen by a husband and wife who said omg are you ok ?? Nothing to see here kids keep moving .. Big girl is ok keep walking 🤣🤣🤣 slashed my palm on the rocks, cuts on my knee and elbow and bled through my white linen pants on my knee 😂😂😂😂 EMBARRASSING 😳 I had to go the pharmacy so she could pick the stones out of my knee and palm .. too tight to pay a doctor 🤣🤣🤣    Baca lagi

    Welcome to Barcelona ! Left standing at airport waiting for driver … a few terse words and what do you know .. I booked for the wrong day 🤔
    Such a beautiful easy funky city ! So many little side streets to get lost in !
    The big discussion I have wanted to raise for along time … only applicable to those that hang out at laundromats or travel and need to do their own washing not pay $100000 for washing socks !
    If washing left in a machine … clearly finished and left there .. can you take it out and put it somewhere ? My vote is 110% yes ! You should be back in time (set your alarm ) or bad luck !
    Oh and yes I did find my I ❤️ Cannabis local store ! I also had a massage in the hotel spa yesterday .. she said (in broken English ) I use cannabis oil on you as your muscles too tight .. no good do I fix ! Bring it on my friend 😂😂😂😂    Baca lagi

    Welcome to Majorca - Minus a suitcase

    Hello Majorca ! A simple 45 minute flight from Barcelona … checked in a suitcase , dirty washing bag , and another bag with some clothes (yes way too much stuff !) arrive .. await at carousel 9 … two small bags show up .. no suitcase 🧳. No other bags left after 20 mins . Go to lost counter report bag missing and cross fingers it shows up. Usually within 48 hours 🤔 I would love to cry but probably won’t do me any good. All these years of travel and only 2 other times luggage missing ! (Teah & Tay pram supposed to go to Cairns went to Darwin and my suitcase supposed to go to Paris went to Madagascar 🇲🇬.. all returned quickly !) so I am probably lucky ! Go to pick up my rental car (tight arse Terry rented the cheapest smallest car .. oh the lady says we have upgraded you to a Mercedes! Oh well nay as well cry in luxury! A drive around the car park .. left arm in the middle left arm in the middle repeat repeat off I go !Baca lagi

    Yeah suitcase showed up at hotel at almost 4pm as noted! A bit hard to do anything without clothes .. 🤣🤣 the hotel is very nice but very very overpriced … ridiculously! My line in the sand is drawn ! €160 (nearly $260) for an hour session private of course doing bloody yoga 🧘‍♀️) .. €35 for standard breakfast … so tomorrow it is a tub of yoghurt from Supemercado and a bit of dry bread 🤣🤣🤣🤣Baca lagi

    Hmmm unless you are a family of Sherpa’s living in the Himalayas and do base camp regularly this trial was neither of the above 😂😂😂 dropping off to the side of the very narrow trail in parts to prob 300 mts ! Then having to climb through a rock staircase through a home in the rock … the only offering on the other side is a chain to hang onto for the last precariously narrow section ! Chickened out for the last few metres ! Not that brave ! Cath and Jills cursory beer after a hike (skulked in 3 mouthfuls I was so hot 🤣🤣🤣) then a dip in a beach somewhere 🏊Baca lagi

    Yoga at 9 .. Brekky at 10 (click lock bags on hand to “save” extra food 🤣🤣🤣🤣 reminds me of holidays with kids making lunch from the breakfast buffet ! Hike around the lake .. 12 km probably not the smartest time of day to do it .. in the middle of the day !
    Just saw a medi vac rescue in front of hotel on the other side of the lake . There was a few steep sections that had obviously had a landslide recently . The chopper had to winch someone from the bottom . Easily a 200 mt slide from the top to the bottom 😱    Baca lagi

    Saturnia Termi .. smells like 🤔 rotten

    Short .. Long cut ! Just a wee bit out of the way (3hrs to be exact !) Saturnia Termi Hot Springs . Water gushing out of under ground springs around 35 degrees and stinky ! On such a hot day I only managed 25 mins ! Hoped out and 20 years younger and 15 kilos less 😳
    Onto Florence .. dumped my stuff hoped on the hotels old Clanger (makes my old bike in wandi look like Rae could do an iron man on that and win!) rode into city centre . Wander around then dinner at Obica (not the same without my Obica Family 🥲)    Baca lagi
