Negombo: Getting there….

We left the house at 10 o’clock towards Arlanda to catch the flight to Pars, our first stopover. From there via Muscat to the international airport of Colombo.
Flying business class has a couple of advantages: fast track at checking in, use of the various lounges, boarding and leaving the plane with the first groups. Not to speak of the quality of the seats, drinks and food!
Due to a late arrival in Muscat, we had to hurry to the gate for the connecting flight, not being able to take photos of the impressive airport. (Maybe on the flight back ?!)
From the international airport Bandaranaike near Colombo, we were able to take a cheap transfer to the hotel in Negombo which met our expectations (70€ for two nights).Read more
