    Naturally, visiting the lime stone boulders and caves of unesco heritage site halong bay is a must.

    There were hundreds of ships on the pier but only few left - we ended up joining a son (gay theater director) and a father (retired travelling sea merchant) on a boat. Fantastic stories were exchanged.
