Rain fell throughout the night and we woke to a soggy, wet camp ground.
The rain continued to fall throughout the day with little letup.
After waiting 19 years to come back and do the tour of the Tom Price Mine we checked to find out that the tour was cancelled today and due to OHS wouldn’t be on for at least another 2 or 3 days!
As a company mining town Tom Price had a Coles and a small shopping area which we wandered around. Went to the information centre and also found a really nice coffee shop, the Pickled Bean. Spent the afternoon around the camp ground as the rain eased up only to return again overnight.Read more
