Thirsk

Drove down to Cottingham, Hull to see Tessa and Frank. Then up to Thirsk Racecourse campsite. On the road for about 4.5 hours in all.
Had an evening stroll into Thirsk and saw a wool shop, then a fabric shop. Yay! Rare in our neck of the woods.
We saw a model of a 1950s Woolshop. Some tiny garments were knitted on size 19 needles!! More like pins!Weiterlesen
