Walking all day ☀️

The forecast was for rain today, but we somehow got lucky as it was beautiful sunshine, it was a bit like going back in time because it felt like early spring rather than late spring which was perfect for walking around the city. We decided to spend the whole day sightseeing with a few pitstops for drinks, and to Jonny's joy a vegan tiramisu in a retro vegan cafe 😋 (not my bag though, soggy cake)

Kaunas castle was lovely, it was built in the 14th Century and attacked and won by some knights, then the Lithuanians won it back, then the knights, then the Lithuanians then houses were built around it then it was protected 🏰

We ended the day by chilling on our balcony and Jonny made risotto, super cosy as we brought a blanket out 😍

Not sure tomorrow will be as sunny so it might be museum day 🤓Read more
