Inverness

We made a wee overnight stop in Inverness before heading into the highlands. Unfortunately it was Saturday night so most things were closed on Sunday when we had time to explore. Fortunately the town is very pretty and has a lovely walking path so we just got our steps before the drive. The tourist shops were also open so we were able to peruse more wool and tweed items. We also spent more time than I would like to admit finding the perfect Nessie at the right price for the travel section of my bookshelf.Read more
