    Seychelles Beach is located between 2 villages, on the south side of Ikaria. In the 1960's the Ikarians created a tunnel through the mountain in order to connect the 2 villages. The rocks, which were removed from the tunnel, cascaded down the mountain, to the shore below. Made from marble, the rocks are bright white. Over the past 5 decades, the rocks have been smoothed and rounded in the rough seas, resulting in a beautiful beach.
