Olive oil press

Today I passed by an old olive oil press, that has fallen into disrepair. Olives would be placed on the horizontal wheel. As the wheel slowly spun, the vertical wheel would crush the olives, creating a thick brown paste. The paste would then be filtered in order to create olive oil.Read more
