Last few days

Before our Final berth in Chateau Gontier we gave Carol a turn at Captain, Graeme found his perfect (little) boat, we flopped about in the heat, and got sorted for departure. Had a beautiful last dinner out at Le Prieure , which a kindly neighbour boatie drove us to. ( some local boaties keep their cars nearby for shopping, wife or husband to go to work ). A smooth journey to Akl - its always nice to come home. Thanks for joining us - a successful adventure, memorable for the kind and friendly people of the Mayenne river, the peace, green, and tranquility of being away from the world and not getting any news of anywhere. We didnt really know about the extent of the fires in SW France. Only regret was not being able to speak or understand French well. Merci Au’voir . Robin xRead more
