Though having not yet fully recuperated from our illnesses, the hospital visit yesterday put wind in our sails and with that energy we intended to make it to the Calicut (Kozhikode) Train Station in time to catch our pre-booked northbound coach. We awoke at 4:00 this morning for a 2.5 hour drive to Calicut, our last with Kumar, our fearless chauffeur, DJ, and interpreter for the last 3.5 weeks.
