McLeod Ganj, Himachal Pradesh

Just saw HH the Dalai Lama. He waved at me (and the rest of the small crowd at the Temple outside his home). 🎋🎉🎊

The complex in which he lives for most of the year includes a temple and many meditation platforms. It was oddly modern yet necessarily simple, with local Tibetans, Buddhist pilgrims, and world travellers alike enjoying its warmth of spirit.
