BTW, a jerk comment, I don't think you meant "heckling, " which is when, for example, people in the audience shout out disparaging comments to someone on stage. Rather, you probably meant "haggle." Anticipating another common error, in the market you don't "barter," unless you actually are trading something you own, like a watch, in exchange for something you would like to own; you bargain, haggling to get the price down.
ViaggiatoreFindPenguins was a great find. I stumbled across it in some travel blogs, and despite it not amassing a huge following to date, it has worked for me with very few kinks. It's lack of clout in the travel community is more due to how recently it was launched, I believe. And yes, yes you are correct about the word choice. However, whether it remained haggling or started that way and ended up just arguing, I would have hated understanding some of the Malayalam remarks made by the driver under his breath. Probably necessitated about as much censorship as a Bob Saget routine.
