The Rose and the Red

After our morning round of frescos, its time for another dose of geology. We can choose from the Rose, Red, Love, Pigeon, Mushroom and several more - each of these a valley with different characteristics depending on geological layering. We start with the Rose and finish with the Red. Both are wonderful. On the Red we climb up steep ladders and through cave tunnels then descend what is almost a cliff on a winding path with reassuring mesh fencing. It’s threatening to rain and we are tired so we hurry home.En savoir plus
