    Peace and quiet

Its time to leave Cappadocia and head east. We have a final few kilometers, past yet more rock formations. They are beautiful but nevertheless we are ready to escape the heavy tourism.

Soon it is much quieter and we pass old abandoned stone villages and start to climb. At the pass, we find a tranquil spot with views all around and have a relaxing afternoon in the sunshine near the tent.

In the morning, a wonderful sunrise and then down to a huge empty plain domimated by another volcano. Tonight we are headed for Tomarza where we plan a night indoors to catch up on the washing/provisions ready for the next leg.
