    Wearing white pants today and of course, the rain decided to welcome me!Still ran into German tourists! What a coincidence. Hahaha! 🇩🇪😂Just sitting by the Chao Phraya River and soaking in the breeze. All I need in Bangkok. 🌊💙I am so camera shy, but my friends forced me to pose! Look at the result. 📸😅Love the friendly tourist vibes! Everyone is so nice and welcoming here. 🌍

    Songwat - Chinatown Yaowaraj

    I flew in from Phitsanulok to Don Mueang and met up with my friends. We parked our car at the Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal, which is absolutely massive! Walking around that station felt like a major workout for a non active person like me. I told my friends we should keep it light today because I have a marathon concert tomorrow from 2 PM until 2 AM! But we all know that a light day in Bangkok never actually stays light. Our main plan for today is taking the MRT into the city to explore the trendy Song Wat area and head to Yaowaraj for a big dinner. Let the journey begin! 🚆🏮🍜

    Song Wat: The main road stretches 1.2 kilometers along the river as a key part of Samphanthawong which is the smallest district in Bangkok. While the entire district covers just 1.4 square kilometers the most popular creative zone is concentrated within a roughly 600 meter section. This compact area is famous for its seamless blend of historic architecture and modern lifestyle.

    The neighborhood is perfect for exploring on foot. You can walk through the entire trendy zone within 1 or 2 hours making it ideal for street photography or a casual stroll.

    Chinatown Yaowaraj: Honestly, I usually try to avoid Yaowara่j because I really dislike crowded and hot places. But my friends dragged me there anyway, so I had to go! Since I was getting hungry, we looked for something quick and easy. We found a noodle shop, and surprisingly, it was so delicious that we finished the whole bowls! Just look at the photo!

    Luckily at "Nam Dao Huu", I also found my favorite dessert spot. Their soy milk soft serve was incredibly good. The real surprise was the fried dough sticks with pandan custard dip. We thought we would have to take them home, but we finished everything in no time! This place really comforted me and made me feel like Yaowaraj was being kind to me after all. 🍜🍦😋    Leggi altro

    Simple dinner from 7-11! Chilling in Hall 5 with strong AC and clean toilets. So peaceful.We made it until the end! So proud of us for staying energetic the whole time. No slacking!So proud of all the artists. I truly love Bakery Music from the bottom of my heart! 🎶❤️Small gimmicks! Collected these artist name papers after the show. Such a sweet memory. 📄✨I missed the secret postcard, but my bestie gave hers to me. Love you so much! 💌😭❤️So proud of this digital medal for staying until the end. Thank you Boyd Kosiyabong! 🏅✨

    IMPACT Arena

    Ready to rock this marathon concert! Staying at "ibis Bangkok IMPACT" was such a smart move because it is only a short walk through the skywalk to the hall. No traffic stress or parking drama to deal with! Our day started with a long, lovely breakfast from 9:30 AM to 12 PM before we headed out at 2:30 PM. The breakfast line here is quite impressive with a great variety of food to choose from. The concert lasted until 2:15 AM, so being able to just crawl back to my bed in minutes was amazing. Highly recommend this place for anyone coming for a big show.

    ๋Just for a day Chonburi trip without the sea. Just here for the vibes and my friends!

    We woke up late today since we did not get to bed until 3 AM. It was a very chill day dedicated to my friend who is a huge fan of a certain actor. We followed her to Central Chonburi for her fan girl mission! It was quite an experience to see how modern fans support their favorite stars. For lunch, we stopped at an Indian restaurant on the motorway because they offer great vegetarian and vegan options for my friend. The rest of us were excited to try some Indian food too. Such a fun and easygoing day with the girls! 🍛

    Food is always my top priority hahaha!
    For dinner, we went to "Larbdee Srisuk" based on a local friend recommendation. The highlight was "the Vegan Crispy Nachos with Mushroom Larb". We also ordered a mix of vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes to share. Everything was so delicious and we were now completely full. Such a perfect way to end the day before heading back to my friend condo in Bangkok! 🌮🍄😋    Leggi altro

    Another chill day in Bangkok with a slow life and foodie vibe. I came to "Dusit Central Park" to see the new rooftop park and enjoy the city view. It was so refreshing to see the greenery of Lumphini Park and the city skyline. I wanted to try "Onibus coffee" but it was too late for caffeine, so I went for an early dinner instead. I was so lucky to find a cute casual omakase set for less than 500 baht with no queue at "Omakase Don By Teppen (OMD)"!

    Ended my day walking around "Dusit Arun at Dusit Central Park" under the beautiful vanilla sky. Such a peaceful evening. 🌳🌇🍣    Leggi altro

    Finally made it to "Taladnoi" or Talatnoi to meet "Auntie Pim" at Mother Roaster. She is my ultimate idol! Auntie Pim started her coffee journey after retirement and has been so successful with many branches now. She shows that age is just a number when it comes to learning new things and even finding love again in her late 60s. Her story gives me so much hope and inspiration hahaha. Age is never an obstacle for a new beginning! ☕️❤️
    **A bit sad that I missed Auntie Pim that day. Still love the vibe and her inspiration though!

    I prefer the vibe of Taladnoi over Song Wat. It feels more raw and local here. I love how the traditional community and tourism blend together so naturally. It is so interesting to see the local way of life. And of course, I cannot resist taking a top view photo whenever I find a beautiful manhole cover! 📸🏙️

    Spent a very productive 2 hours here. Freshly caffeinated and ready for the next stop! 🍵☕️🏃‍♀️    Leggi altro

    When you expect nothing, you get everything! My initial plan was just to see the view of "Wat Arun" from "the Tha Tien side", but the grand pagoda is so stunning and majestic in person. You really have to see it with your own eyes. I spent so much time admiring the view that I completely lost track of time. I took a boat from Talad Noi and a short bike ride here just to catch the sunset. It was such a magical and beyond expectation moment! 🌅🙏

    "Inn A Day" is such a hidden gem right across from "Wat Arun". I did not plan to eat here, but I am so glad I did! The food tastes like a home cooked meal made by mom, and the quality is amazing for a very fair price. It is a lovely family business where everyone looks after you so well. From the hotel and restaurant to "the TYME rooftop bar", it has everything you need without being crowded. I absolutely love this vibe!    Leggi altro

    Gate changed at the last minute! Ran from 31 to 71 like a marathon. I made it but I am exhausted! ✈️🥵

    Bangkok is the city where I love exploring the old charms and local ways of life. At the same time, the new side of the city is equally exciting. It is a place that always adds so much color and energy to my life. Every visit feels like a new adventure! It is not so cruel after all. It always has its own way of being kind.
