Hometown vacay in Nan

Nan is my small hometown where people are always lovely. I was born and raised here until 18. Although time has passed, my love for Nan remains the same. It is a place that always feels like home, no matter how long I have been away. 🏔️🏠💖 Leggi altro

    I am so happy that I did not have to drive home alone this time. Having my best friend Aor and Kevin with me made the journey so much more fun! We talked and laughed all the way from Phitsanulok to Nan.

    I did not drive fast at all because I enjoyed the company and we made plenty of stops along the way. It took us about 5 or 6 hours to get here, which is much slower than my usual solo drive of 3.5 or 4 hours for this 295 kilometer route. But honestly, going slow and enjoying the moment with friends is the best way to travel home. The long drive felt short because of the great conversations! 🚗💨🗣️

    We made two main stops during our road trip to Nan. First, we visited Lom Yen in Uttaradit to get some refreshing cold drinks. It was such a nice place to take a break.

    Then, we continued to Phrae for a delicious lunch at Guay Tiew Thung Kwaw. Their traditional noodles were amazing and full of flavor. These stops made our journey so much more enjoyable. There is nothing like good food and drinks with best friends on the way home!    Leggi altro

    A real mountain of fresh cocoa pods! I love the vibrant colors and the organic vibes here.So much cuteness at the check in counter! Love all the little details.A warm welcome with a refreshing Butterfly Pea Lemonade. The perfect cool drink to start our stay.Such a beautiful wreath made of fresh Mexican Creeper flowers. 🌸🌿Staring at the peaceful river view from my cabin. Pure relaxation in Chiang Klang!Golden hour by the river. This natural evening light is just perfect! 🌅Ending the day with a simple one dish meal that we preordered from the stay.

    Exploring Pua and spending a night in Chiang Klang

    Started our day from Nan city and arrived in Pua just in time for lunch. We grabbed a simple noodle soup by the roadside before heading to an amazing cocoa experience at "Cocoa Valley Resort".

    It was such a great experience tasting organic cocoa grown right here in Pua. They have everything from refreshing cocoa drinks to delicious desserts and their own special chocolate recipes. We took some time to relax and refresh ourselves there before heading further to Chiang Klang district. Such a sweet and refreshing day! 🍫🥤

    Finally made it to "The River Runs Chiang Klang"! I have wanted to stay here for a long time, and being here with friends makes it even more perfect.

    We are staying in a cozy cabin right by the river. The weather is so cool and refreshing. I spent my afternoon from 3 PM until sunset just sitting by the water, soaking in the peaceful nature without any distractions. Having a long and easy conversation with friends in such a beautiful place is truly the best feeling. This is what a real vacation looks like! 🪵🌊🍃    Leggi altro

    Chiang Klang - Tha Wang Pha - Muang Nan

    Such an amazing breakfast spread at The River Runs Chiang Klang! I love the traditional rice soup and organic flower teas. We checked out at 11 AM feeling so refreshed. We love this place so much that we already planned to come back in late 2026!

    On the way back to the city, we stopped at "Lalana Cafe" in Tha Wang Pha for my favorite Apple Turnover. I even bought some back for Imp Im to keep in the freezer. A perfect sweet treat before heading home! 🍎🥐☕️

    Lalana Cafe is a true survivor. Even after facing massive floods that reached the roof for two years in a row, the owner never gave up. I am so grateful for your strong spirit and determination. Thank you for not quitting, so I can still enjoy my favorite apple turnover. This place is not just a cafe, it is a symbol of resilience. 💪

    Our last stop before the city. I cannot believe we found this hidden gem by the roadside. Simple food with the sound of the flowing river and such fresh air.
