Chilly Canterbury

We woke to a shining example of English weather - no sun shining at all. Looking at the weather we were in for a balmy 7 degree maximum. Still think we'd rather this than the 36 degree days home is getting at the moment. I finally cracked out my specially bought winter leggings to put under my jeans. Boy were these fantastic. American Apparel is on to something here. We walked around Canterbury and saw some historical sites and the high street and busy shops. We stopped for a pint before walking back to the warm house. For dinner we ventured out to an English pub for a great meal before a few more drinks to warm us up. A great day - what a quaint city.Leggi altro
