Great Alpine Road

Went on the Great Alpine Road today, which runs from Bairnsdale in the east to Wangaratta in the north, passing through the Victorian Alps. What a beautiful country we live in.

Stopped at Mount Kosciuszko's lookout but unfortunately wasn't able to see due to cloud coverage. Had a look a Dinner Plain but didn't stop, nowhere to park. Next, we headed to Hotham, but when we got to the checkpoint, we were turned around as we weren't carrying any chains for the tyres.

To look on the bright side, at least I got to play in the snow, something that I finally got to experience, and I am sure I will get to experience it again during our travels. Phil was able to get drone footage.Read more
