Last Day - Lake Entrance

Today is our last day in Lake Entrance so we decided to make the most of it and went for a drive. We stopped in at local areas like Red Bluff, Lake Tyers and Buchan.

We saw a sign that pointed to McKillops Bridge, which is located inside the Snowy River National Park, so we decided to go have a look. Unbeknown to us most of the road was mainly gravel, very narrow, steep and challenging, and some sections were a little hair-raising.

The round trip from Lakes Entrance to McKillops Bridge and then back via Orbost with places we stopped at took us nearly 6 hours and just over 341 km.Read more
