Cape Liptrap Lighthouse

Visited Cape Liptrap Lighthouse on our way back from The Prom. Great hidden spot..hardly anyone when we arrived. A picturesque rugged location is easily accessed by a short walk from the car park.

Cape Liptrap Lighthouse
stands upon a rocky cliff top, on a solitary part of the South Gippsland coastline, warning ships of the rocks in the treacherous Bass Strait.

Like most lighthouses, it has some interesting history, and the cape provides views of Wilson's Prom in the distance.Read more
